Overview

This qualification looks at more specific areas within tourism and its relationship with marketing. The qualification focuses on areas such as public relations, business law and events management. Candidates will increase the depth of their knowledge and understanding of the subject areas and learn how to cope with complex situations.

Course Structure

Candidates must attempt a minimum of four modules in total. Three modules are mandatory and the candidate must complete at least one of the two optional modules successfully before the Award can be issued.

In addition to the compulsory and optional modules, students should also pick either German or French language course. This course is provided in order to enhance the prospects of employment for the students in any part of the world.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must have completed the Foundation Diploma in Travel & Tourism Marketing, GCE A' Level or Higher Secondary School (12th grade).

Full Time: 12 Months

Assessment

This course will be assessed through examinations for each individual subject.

After the Diploma

On successful completion of this qualification students have the following options:

Professional Travel & Tourism diploma is highly respected in the industry and students can land a job at middle level in travel & tourism industry (airlines, hotels, restaurants, events management, etc.)

Students can progress onto studying Graduate Diploma in Travel & Tourism.
